Medica M3 implemented the ERP, SFA and Business Intelligence solutions from Senior Software, in order to improve the collaboration with its suppliers and customers through a better management of the internal operations and not least to increase the accuracy of the decision making process.
Founded in 1994, Medica M3 imports and distributes a wide range of consumables, instruments and dental equipment for both dental offices, and dental laboratories. The company has eight subsidiaries in the largest cities of Romania (Cluj-Napoca, Baia Mare, Brasov, Bucharest, Craiova, Iasi, Oradea, Sibiu) and through its network of sales agents and distributors it covers the entire Romanian territory.
Given the complexity of business operations, the managers felt the need for a complete software solution that integrated all carried out operations and allowed real-time communication with and between offices in the country and employees in the field. Moreover, the limitations of the previously used solution in terms of getting timely reports and analyses, significantly impeded the decision making process. In this context, Medica M3 managers decided to implement a suite of integrated systems consisting of SeniorERP for company resource management, SeniorSFA to automate the activity of the business sales representatives in the field and SeniorVisualBI for advanced analysis and reporting.

Currently, due to the existence of a unique database and the online working mode of the ERP system, all company employees have real-time access to the latest information related to customers, suppliers, inventory, trade policies, documents registered and balances, depending on access levels set. The use of the ERP system favored the automation of processes related to document generation, implementation of well-defined workflows for acquisition, sales and distribution activities, a clear definition of trade policies in dealing with suppliers and customers and not only.
The integration of the ERP system with SeniorSFA allowed the automated transmission of orders taken by field sales agents directly to ERP, which resulted in reduced delivery time. Moreover, with the help of the SFA mobile application, sales representatives have obtained access to information needed to conduct their activity in best conditions: detailed product features, updates prices, promotions, inventory, customer history, their balances and so on.
All data in ERP and SFA can be subsequently analyzed with SeniorVisualBI, the Business Intelligence solution developed on Tableau Software platform, the global leader in data visualization. With the BI system managers follow a wide range of relevant indicators for the company, which gives them the opportunity to act quickly in a dynamic market such as the one that includes Medica M3. Among those indicators there are: cash flow, net sales, trade margins, profit, value and quantity of acquisitions or partners balances.
