Nu Oricum Serv, company that supplies vegetables to the largest retailer in Romania, uses a modern ERP system with the help of which it has optimized its activity and gained major time savings. Nu Oricum Serv, one of the companies that supplies a leading Romanian retailer, has optimized its business after replacing its old software with a complete ERP solution for integrated business management. A few months ago, the supplier implemented SeniorERP from Senior Software to automate and organise its workflows and improve communication with IKA. The company has achieved better resource management, recorded major time savings and benefits from increased traceability and operability in day-to-day tasks.

With a turnover of about 8 million euros, Nu Oricum Serv, a company from Dambovita (Romania), sells phytosanitary products, seeds, articles for greenhouses, and is also a producer and supplier of vegetables and fruits. The business’ main challenge was  exchanging information with IKA. This process was difficult because several non-integrated systems were used, which required manual and iterative data entry. With the implementation of the SeniorERP solution, this problem was solved. In a very short time, thanks to the integrated business management system, the supplier eliminated repetitive tasks, which were prone to errors, unnecessarily consumed resources and did not add value to the company.

“Our activity was very difficult before because the old system didn’t allow automatic data and document processing, which put us in the situation of processing them manually. Exchanging information with IKA customers was done in a repetitive way: it was done in the old system and then in an EDI platform, which required a lot of time. Therefore, we were looking for a user-friendly system with an intuitive interface, which would be adapted to our needs and could automate the operational processes. In the 3 months since we have been working in ERP, we have greatly reduced the time spent on document operation. Here I can list the exchange of data with EDI, the consumption receipts for used packaging, which are now issued with a single click. We have a very accurate traceability of information, which is transmitted to all of the company’s departments.”
